Costa Rica independence is celebrated creating handmade lanterns which meant to symbolize the 19th- century journey that brought the message of Central American independence to Costa Rica.
Sustainability Project
tSofia created her own ideal community where she demonstrated the following words in action: rethink, refuse, reduce, reuse, recycle (the 5 R’s).

Recycling
During this trimester Sofia learned about Landfills: Can we separate the plastic and other recycling after it is taken to the dump? What can we do to help? No, we can’t take it out of the dump. Do not throw away things that can be recycled.
