Hi! My name is Patricia Fernández. I have lived in San José most of my life. I studied at Fidélitas University and obtained my Licenciatura´s degree in Educational Administration and I also studied Literacy at the University of North Dakota. I have practiced my profession as a teacher for more than 15 years in different schools in the country, teaching children from preschool to high school. In the United States, I taught English to Latin American immigrant adults. I arrived in Guanacaste two months ago and I am happy to be able to live and work in this beautiful place. I enjoy when my students manage to learn by themselves and understand the great capacity they have to develop.
Hola! Mi nombre es Patricia Fernández. He vivido en San José la mayor parte de mi vida. Estudié en la Universidad Fidélitas y obtuve mi título de Licenciada en Administración Educativa además estudié Alfabetización en la Universidad de Dakota del Norte. He ejercido mi profesión de maestra por más de 15 años en diferentes escuelas del país, dando clases a niños desde preescolar hasta enseñanza media. En Estados Unidos enseñé inglés a adultos inmigrantes latinoamericanos. Llegué a Guanacaste hace dos meses y estoy feliz de poder vivir y trabajar en este hermoso lugar. Disfruto cuando mis estudiantes logran aprender por sí mismos y entienden la gran capacidad que tienen por desarrollar.
