Our Behavior and Education Support Team (BEST) supports students in understanding and developing their unique abilities to reach their full potential. BEST provides comprehensive support in socio-emotional and academic areas, using targeted strategies from experts in Special Education, School Counseling, and Educational Psychology to foster personal growth and academic success.
Counseling: Provides individualized and group support focused on prevention and personal development. Utilizes the Positive Behavioral Support Model to create and implement tailored behavioral support plans, and monitors student progress.
Positive Discipline and Peace Education: Concentrates on establishing clear, respectful behavioral expectations, teaching effective conflict resolution techniques, and fostering a supportive and inclusive school environment. This approach aims to build a positive and respectful learning atmosphere.
Career and College Counseling: Delivers personalized counseling and group counseling to help students explore their career interests and potential paths. Assists with the university application process, including navigating admissions requirements and selecting suitable institutions, ensuring students are well-prepared for higher education.
We believe that fostering responsible global citizens involves active participation from both families and the community. That’s why we ask each family to contribute at least 18 volunteer hours annually. This involvement not only strengthens the bonds within our community but also sets a powerful example of service for our children.
